Jacob West was contracted on the demolition and rebuild design of this twin-detached townhouse development. The Uk-based investment banker client owned this property for more than 20 years and had the idea to redevelop it.

We needed to obtain a demolition permit from the local authorities before submitting the proposed architectural design. The original building was spread across the entire land. We at Jacob West offered a modern solution to achieve a higher return.
Project Overview
The process of demolition took a week because, the original structure’s footings was constructed with a terrazzo. This process required heavy-duty machinery.

We decided to set out both buildings and tackle two foundations at once.
The major challenge was acquiring relevant permits before we could proceed with the build.
One fully completed structure, but the second one is still under development
