JACOB WEST
Problem
Before Jacob West came in, the client faced a major challenge: he had an existing building on his family land that was not generating good rental income and felt like the land was being underutilized. Adding to the frustration, he lacked confidence in his ability to handle the rebuild or to find the right professional team to deliver his vision. Searching for answers, he discovered Jacob West on YouTube, where our work gave him the confidence to finally move forward with transforming the property.
Solution
After discussions, Jacob West proposed a smarter approach: demolish the old structure and replace it with a twin house design. This would maximize the land’s potential, double the rental opportunities, and create modern living spaces. We took on the design, demolition, and structural build of the first house, laying the foundation for two homes on the same site. Once the primary construction was complete, the client chose to handle the finishing himself, allowing him to add his own personal touches.

Result
The transformation gave the client a renewed sense of confidence and control over his property. He now had two homes on the land, one completed and the second progressing at his own pace. What began as an underperforming property became a forward-looking investment and a source of pride. For the client, the Ginger Street project was more than construction—it was about reimagining family land, creating lasting value, and starting a fresh chapter for a new generation.

Project Story: A Family Home Reimagined on Ginger Street

In 2021, the Ginger Street project began in a special way, through YouTube. After following our work online, the client reached out to Jacob West, inspired by our approach and determined to transform his long-held family property into something new.

The vision was to repurpose the site by replacing the old structure with a twin house design, creating modern spaces that would honor the land’s legacy while maximizing its potential. We began by carefully demolishing the existing build, then laying the foundations for two units. From there, construction commenced with one of the homes.

Our role was to guide the design and structure of the project, ensuring the twin house concept came to life with strength and clarity. Once the core build was complete, the client took over the finishing process himself, adding personal touches to carry the project forward.

For the client, Ginger Street was more than just construction, it was about reimagining a family property for a new generation, turning memories into modern living, and starting a new chapter on familiar ground.
