JACOB WEST
Problem
For Mr. P. Taylor, building in East Legon Hills was first and foremost about investment. His vision was clear—two modern four-bedroom homes designed for comfort, practicality, and long-term value. However, the timing posed unique challenges. Construction began shortly after the world was emerging from COVID-19, a period filled with uncertainty about finances, timelines, and the future. Many were hesitant to commit to large projects, but Mr. Taylor needed a partner who could deliver with confidence despite the climate of doubt.
Solution
Mr. Taylor came to Jacob West with his plans in hand, and we were entrusted with bringing them to life. Together, we made the strategic decision to begin with one house first, laying the foundations for both units but focusing resources on completing a single home. Our team designed and built with an emphasis on simplicity, functionality, and durability. To ensure strength and longevity, we used metal trusses for the roof—a choice that made the structure lighter, more efficient, and resilient against long-term wear.

Result
By late 2021 into 2022, the first home was completed. Clean, modern, and built with care, it has since become both a beautiful residence and a successful investment. Today, the house is rented out, generating steady returns for Mr. Taylor, while also setting the stage for the construction of the second unit. What began as a cautious step in uncertain times has now become a growing legacy of smart property investment.

East Legon Hill Twin House

For Mr. P. Taylor, building in East Legon Hills was first and foremost an investment. His vision was clear—two modern four-bedroom homes designed for comfort, practicality, and long-term value. He came to Jacob West with his plans in hand, and we were entrusted with bringing them to life.

The timing, however, made the journey unique. Construction began shortly after the world was emerging from COVID-19, a time when many were hesitant about committing to big projects. There was uncertainty everywhere—about finances, timelines, and even the future. Yet, with determination, we laid the foundations and pushed forward.

The client ultimately decided to complete one of the two houses first. By late 2021 into 2022, the home was finished—designed with clean, modern simplicity and built with care. For durability and peace of mind, we used metal trusses for the roof, ensuring strength and longevity while keeping the structure light and efficient.

The completed home now stands as both a beautiful residence and a working investment, currently rented out and generating steady returns. With the success of the first unit, Mr. Taylor looks forward to moving ahead with the second, continuing the journey of turning vision into reality.
